You may be aware by now that Jamberry is launching in the UK on 5th April. This launch comes with new exciting opportunities for a whole new market of people, eager to have fabulous nails with Jamberry nail wraps. It also brings a new opportunity to launch a successful Jamberry business for UK residents!
One thing that has come up a few times is the area of sponsors. Being a new region for Jamberry, there are no current UK sponsors until sign up day on the 5th. This means anyone who wants to join early on needs to find either an international sponsor, or a local prospective sponsor part of an international team.
Either way, this sponsor will have links to either USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. And this is actually a good thing!
WHAT IS A SPONSOR?
First things first, what is a sponsor and why do you even need one? Because you are unable to join Jamberry without one. Every consultant who joins needs to have a sponsor to enroll under. By enrolling under a sponsor, you become part of their team. So your sponsor will be another consultant who is already registered with Jamberry and available for sponsorship. They need to be active at the time of sponsoring i.e. not a hobbyist.
HOW DO I FIND A SPONSOR?
Finding a sponsor during pre-launch can be a little trickier. In most cases, it is through connecting with either an international sponsor who is seeking team members for launch, or through a local contact who is part of a future international team.
If you do not already have a sponsor, an easy way to find one before launch is to google or search Facebook for Jamberry UK contacts, such as a Facebook Interest Page, like this one I have created. This way you can connect with the person and see if they are a suitable prospective sponsor.
However, after April 5th, you will also be able to find a sponsor using the sponsor search on the Jamberry.com/uk website when you go to join. This will allow you to find a sponsor in your local area from consultants who have just signed up, or to find a sponsor from any of Jamberry’s current international markets.
International sponsors will only show up if they have paid for their cross border sponsorship, which is a fee payable when acknowledging the responsibility of sponsoring team from another market. This requires them to read through some P&P before paying the sponsorship fee.
THE BENEFITS OF AN INTERNATIONAL SPONSOR
No matter where you are in the Jamberry line, you will have links to sponsors in other markets, which is the nature of being involved in such a growing international company. However for some, these international links may be much closer than others.
If you choose to join Jamberry under an international sponsor during the UK launch period, you have a potential head start though. For many international teams sponsoring UK consultants in April and beyond, there is access to support information, resources and training tools that you would otherwise need to wait until after you join to access.
While you won’t have access to the formal Jamberry resources, such as Jamberry University, you have the chance to learn from consultants who are already actively working their Jamberry business, and who know what works and where to start.
This means you can get started on some business launching activities, even before the official sign up. So there are certainly perks!
For my own team, we have a UK interest group, as well as our prospective consultants team page which we have recently opened and added an abundance of resources to support our future team members on preparing for launch. However this group also includes prospective consultants who wish to join under them.. ladies who will be sponsored by a UK friend instead.
We already have our party scripts, ideas and business building tools that we have been utilising in our own businesses here in Australia, so these are going to give a head start to anyone who is starting new. Why reinvent the wheel… as they say!
